Chef Peter Kelly joined the faculty at Johnson & Wales University in 2000, where he teaches classes in Classical French Cuisine as well as modern interpretations of New World foods.

Prior to coming to JWU, Kelly was a chef instructor at the New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier, Vt. He has also worked as an executive chef at Nicole’s Bistro at the Quackenbush House, at L’Auberge Restaurant in Albany, N.Y., and at The Rattlesnake Club in Detroit and Gourmet at the Belvedere in Baltimore. 

Kelly is the recipient of the 2010 Robert M. Nograd Teacher of the Year, the 2008 Parents’ Association Faculty Recognition Award, and the 2005 Publishing & Research Award.
