A native of Germany, Chef Juergen Knorr joined the faculty of Johnson & Wales in 1999, where he teaches classes in Garde Manger. He was the 2002 recipient of the Culinary Service Award.

Prior to coming to JWU, Knorr worked at the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Fla., as well as the Smoke Tree Ranch in Palm Springs, Calif. He is a Certified Executive Chef.
