Donald Kaczmarczyk began his career at Johnson & Wales University in 1993 and has taught marine biology, botany, ecology, environmental science, and life science. He has presented at and attended both regional and national conferences on aquatic biology and phycology and is currently a member of The Phycological Society of America, Northeast Algal Society, Rhode Island Natural History Survey, Connecticut Federation of Lakes and others.
In addition, Kaczmarczyk currently serves on both the School of Arts & Sciences and the University Curriculum Committees and has been involved in the creation and implementation of new courses within the Science Department.
