Chef Rob Lucier joined the faculty of Johnson & Wales University in 1998, where he teaches New World Cuisine, Traditional European Cuisine, and Skills of Meatcutting. He is a past recipient of the College’s Outstanding Service Award and Culinary Service Award. He was a recipient of the 2010 Culinary Service Award, and the Outstanding Service Award in 1999 and 2006.Lucier came to JWU from Luzo Foodservice Corp. in New Bedford, Mass. Prior to that, he worked as a chef at the Greenville Gourmet Shoppe in Smithfield, R.I., and at the Golden Lantern in Warwick, R.I. He is a member of the American Culinary Federation and a Certified Executive Chef.
