Chef Ray McCue joined the faculty of Johnson & Wales University in 2007, where he teaches classes in garde manger. Before coming to JWU, McCue worked at the Ritz-Carlton in New York City, and at 2 West Restaurant. In 2003 he earned the Bacardi USA Award of Culinary Excellence, and in 2005 he won best patisserie in the Academie Culinaire de France competition. He has also appeared on The Today Show showcasing elegant and summertime cuisine with Al Roker.
McCue was the recipient of the 2012 Outstanding Service Award and 2008 Outstanding First Year Teacher Award.
McCue is also a Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE).
