In addition to teaching, Samuel Wells is also faculty editor for the Honors Journal Da Vinci’s Vault and advisor for the JWU Wildcat New Program.

Wells attended Yale University’s graduate writing workshop and his one act play Resurrections won the Prairie Playwright Award for Original Drama and he performed in Angels in the Snow, the first musical ever presented for the members of the United Nations. He is also an accomplished technical editor, a published poet, short story author and award-winning stage director. Most recently, his work has appeared on the website for Made Up Movement, an arts and literature magazine and Treating Yourself: The Alternative Medicine Journal, Published in Canada and widely distributed throughout North America and Australia.
