Chef David Petrone joined the faculty of Johnson & Wales in 1994, where he teaches classes in kitchen and storeroom management, and restaurant purchasing and procurement. He received the College’s peer-selected Most Valuable Player award in 2005, and won the College’s Outstanding Service Award twice. He also received the 2011 Parents’ Association Faculty Recognition Award and the 2012 Dean’s Award for Professional Achievement.Besides his teaching duties at JWU, Petrone serves as executive chef of Landfall Restaurant in Woods Hole, Mass. He also owned D & P Catering Inc. in Falmouth, Mass., and Bay Front Restaurant in Hyannis, Mass.Petrone is a Certified Working Chef, Certified Culinary Educator, and Certified Food Service Executive.
