Jerry Lanuzza ’91 earned his associate degree in Culinary Arts and his bachelor’s degree in Food Service Education from Johnson & Wales University. He earned his master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Old Dominion University in Virginia.

Before his career in education, Lanuzza was executive chef at Two Rivers Country Club at Governor’s Land in Williamsburg, Va. He also is a Certified Hospitality Educator through the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute, holds a Level 3 Advanced Wine Certificate in wines and spirits from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, and is a Foodservice Management Professional through the National Restaurant Association.

Lanuzza served as the culinary college department chair at the Norfolk Campus and has been a faculty member since 1994.
