Joseph Benedetto is an assistant professor at Johnson & Wales University, where he teaches nutrition and meatcutting.
Benedetto holds a master’s degree in teaching, a bachelor’s degree in Culinary Nutrition and an associate degree in Culinary Arts from JWU. Benedetto is a retired Naval officer who served this nation for more than 30 years. His industry experience includes Quidnessett Country Club, North Kingstown, R.I, and The Spa at Norwich Inn, Norwich, Conn. Chef Benedetto is also the owner/operator of Custom Cuisine Design, a culinary and nutritional consulting company. He has been a faculty member since 2003, teaching at both the Providence and Charlotte campuses.
