Kakyom Kim has worked in numerous service fields including special event/meeting organizations and food and beverage, and in cafeterias as a server and supervisor. Kim also worked with the Michigan Travel and Tourism Center and the Recreation Marine Research Center at Michigan State University, where he focused on teaching and research in recreation and tourism.
