He has worked as a Licensed Maine Recreational Guide, Licensed Maine Whitewater Rafting Guide Level 2, Wilderness First Responder Emergency Medicine, Leave No Trace Trainer - Environmental Ethics, Registered Coastal Kayaking Guide, Level 3 ACA Paddling Certification and a Certified Mountain Bike Tour Guide.
VanLandingham also works as a Kayaking Instructor and Tour Guide with Martha’s Vineyard Eco Adventures and a Raft Guide with Northern Outdoors the Forks, Maine.
VanLandingham serves as an Advisor to the university’s Adventure, Sports and Nature Based Tourism Concentration as well as the Outdoor Adventure Club.
