Martin Sivula is director of research at Johnson & Wales University’s Graduate School. His experience includes roles as a research consultant to the PROBE Commission restructuring the Providence School Department and a consultant for the Merrimack Educational Consortium. Sivula is a Special Lecturer of Education at Providence College, and has served as an advisor to doctoral students at the University of Connecticut and a faculty member at Fitchburg State College. Prior to joining JWU, he worked as an educational coordinator and computer system manager for the Lunenburg, Mass. Public School Department. Sivula is an active member of the American Evaluation Association (AEA) and contributes to research of faculty and measurement. He is also a member of the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE), Mathematical Association of America and Association for Institutional Research (AIR). Sivula has received Outstanding Teacher, Doctoral Program and Academic Leadership awards at JWU and an Outstanding Leadership Award at Fitchburg State College.
