Frank Robinson brings extensive banking and entrepreneurship background to the classroom. He has held positions as Executive Vice President and CEO of Victory Savings Bank of South Carolina. Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer with Bankers Trust of South Carolina, Assistant Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer with the National Bank of Detroit. His experience in the private and public sectors with service-oriented companies includes ownership in a family-owned restaurant in New Orleans.
Robinson is in his 19th year with Johnson & Wales University where he was named Teacher of the Year and Student Choice for Teacher of the Year. His teaching experience includes three colleges in Charleston: Trident Technical College, Limestone College and Watterson College; Michigan Lutheran College; and Central Texas College where he taught Navy personnel in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm. His teaching philosophy blends real life experience with academia for the best classroom outcomes.
