Before coming to Johnson & Wales University, John Krupa, Jr. worked as a sales manager and a marketing manager in the jewelry industry. He also worked as a district manager of operations in the coffee industry and was a sales representative in the wholesale food industry.Krupa is a Certified Sales Executive, a Certified Professional Sales Person, a Certified Sales Facilitator, Certified Marketing Executive, and a Certified Trainer with Achieve Global.Krupa developed and implemented the first “Junior Consultants” program for the JWU College of Business and is the program coordinator. (Junior Consultants are teamed with clients from the Small Businesses Development Center located at JWU.) He also serves on the College of Business Outcomes and Assessment Committee and is a faculty advisor for the Young Republicans Club. Krupa participates in Caritas De-Felicidad (Happy Faces), which is a non-profit organization dedicated to supplying toys to children in the Dominican Republic and under-privileged parts of the United States, and is a member of the Board of Directors. He also consults with local businesses and volunteers his time to educate small business owners in the areas of leadership and marketing practices.
