Writing CenterThe Writing Center exists to support writers at all stages of the writing process.
An experienced writing consultant will work with you during an individualized 30-minute appointment that focuses on customizing comments to each student in a supportive environment. Call or stop by to make an appointment.

Culinary Math Math skills are critical to your success in the culinary industry. CAS provides workshops and tutoring for students who need to improve proficiency in this area.
End-of-Term Study Sessions These informal evening gatherings are designed to assist students in studying for final exams. Instructors, advisors, and peer and professional tutors are on hand to answer questions in locations throughout campus. Check the Involvement Network for this term’s schedule.
Placement TestingThe center provides all placement testing during orientation events.
Challenge Exams We also offer Challenge Exams for many courses offered at JWU. You may request an exam when you feel you have the subject knowledge of a specific JWU course based on previous academic and/or work experience.
