Continuing & Adult Education

JWU's Continuing Education program serves a diverse community of adult learners whose interests range from professional development, career transition, personal enrichment or academic growth. Convenient evening or weekend classes are offered on our Providence Campus.

We deliver a career-focused education that prepares you for success in business, hospitality, culinary arts, or technology. You will receive support, preparation and job placement guidance from Experiential Education & Career Services, while graduates benefit from lifelong access to our career services.

Entering students must hold a high school diploma or G.E.D to enroll in a for-credit class, leading to an associate degree, bachelor’s degree, diploma or certificate program. Many adult learners with previous college experience transfer to JWU in order to complete a degree.

We offer Associate and Bachelor's degree, diploma, certificate, beverage certification and recreational cooking programs at our Providence Campus as well as beverage certification and recreational cooking programs at our North Miami, Denver and Charlotte campuses.
