Be prepared for going through immigration upon your arrival to the U.S.
Have your original, signed I-20 ready to show the immigration officer, along with your passport and US visa. Make sure that your I-20 and your I-94 card are both stamped with “F-1, D/S”; keep the stamped I-94 card in your passport.
If you submitted your travel plans to JWU and are scheduled to arrive between 9am and 4pm, a representative from JWU will meet you at the airport, bus station or train station and bring you to the hotel or to your residence hall.
