Graduate Studies

If you are thinking about furthering your education to change your career or advance your current one, then consider a graduate degree from Johnson & Wales University. We offer a wide range of advanced degree programs at our Providence Campus: from MBA to EdD, our career-focused graduate curriculum positions you to be competitive for opportunities in business, industry and education. We also offer a pre-MBA program for international students.

Applications for graduate programs are accepted from students who currently hold a bachelor’s degree, or greater, from an accredited institution in the United States or government recognized school outside the United States. We offer a career-focused curriculum to prepare you for success in business, industry and education. Our professional faculty deliver programs that have evolved from direct feedback from the businesses that hire our graduates.

Classes are scheduled on weekday evenings, with afternoon classes in certain programs. The majority of students follow a traditional schedule, enrolling in two courses each term. Please note that students enrolled in two courses or 9 quarter credits are considered full time.

If you have met the foundation or pre-requisite course requirements, you can request an accelerated schedule where you enroll in three courses or 13.5 quarter credits, if you maintain a minimum 3.75 grade point average. In this way, it's possible to complete the program in one calendar year.
