Description Junior Achievement uses hands-on experiences to help young people understand the economics of life. JA BizTown is an experiential learning opportunity for 4th and 5th grade students to run their own mini-city for a day.

Special Requirements Special Requirements PLEASE NOTE: On days with numerous volunteers, you must be willing to help with special office projects that will not provide interaction with the children!

Directions Directions Driving Directions from Johnson & Wales University, 801 West Trade Street, Charlotte, NC, 28202: Head east on Trade Street to Church Street, turn right onto Church Street, then left onto 3rd Street. Turn left onto Tryon Street and JA BizTown is on the right halfway up the block. *Please Note: There is NO free parking in the area! It is best to walk or ride the free Red Line Goldrush trolley from the university to the corner of Trade and Tryon. Walk 1½ blocks to the right, crossing over 4th street. JA is on the left side after crossing 4th. Enter the building at the revolving doors between Dean & Deluca and Vapiano’s and take the elevator down to the lower level to reach JA’s lobby.
