Career Fairs & Recruiting Events

Company Spotlight January 8-May 9, 2008(Monday - Thursday only) Employers may contact the Director of Industry Relations to discuss options or complete the Company Spotlight request form and return it to the Career Development Office via email.

Spring Expo April 15, 2008 What are you doing this summer? A diverse group of companies will be present their opportunities at this spring job fair. This is a fantastic way to learn about employment opportunities that are ideal for college students and graduates.

Part-time Job Fair September 17, 2008 Employers who are actively hiring for the fall and upcoming holiday season will be on campus to recruit our job-ready students.

Alumni Reception November 5, 2008 The evening before Career Conference, the Office of Alumni Relations hosts a special reception for employers, local area alums, and high school educators from the Denver Metro Area. This reception features the culinary creations from students and faculty of the College of Culinary Arts. In addition to showcasing the talents of our students, it also creates an opportunity for alums to talk with employers about prospective employment opportunities.

Career Conference November 6 , 2008 The time to plan for a post-graduate career is now! More than 60 local, national and multi-national employers will visit our campus, prepared to tell about their companies and inform and answer questions about employment opportunities, internships, and the future; some will offer interviews that afternoon.

Career Conference allows students to explore career options, apply for jobs (from internship and volunteer opportunities to post-graduation careers) and demonstrate the professionalism and networking skills honed in coursework and experiential learning programs. Participating employers will have the option to meet over 1,000 career-minded students and alumni. Employers interested in participating in the 2008 Career Conference must complete an Online registration and submit payment to the Denver Career Development Office.

Marriott Day January 2009 Learn more about one of Johnson & Wales University's covenant partners through classroom presentations, information sessions, demonstrations and Q & A forums. Interview with recruiters from Marriott and Ritz-Carlton for internships and employment.

Compass Day Winter 2009 Learn more about one of Johnson & Wales University's covenant partners through classroom presentations, information sessions, demonstrations and Q & A forums. Interview with recruiters from Compass for internships and employment.
