Academics
The Providence Campus offers a wide range of bachelors, masters, doctoral, associate and continuing education programs. Located in a fast-paced business, creative and culinary hub, the campus provides strong links to local, national and global industry.
Our pioneering approach to academics combines classroom education with industry-specific skills. Our academic programs blend the theoretical with the practical and are designed with industry input, so you’ll graduate with the knowledge and skills employers are seeking. We'll provide you with:
- Hands-on learning in small classroom settings
- Training on industry-specific software
- Leadership development and community service opportunities
- A faculty with significant industry experience
- The opportunity to take classes in your major in your first term
- Innovative concentrations
- Opportunities to study overseas
One-third of your coursework will consist of arts and sciences classes, so you'll develop the critical thinking, analytical and communications skills necessary for long-term career progression.
Working with your faculty advisor and using our career management website, you’ll identify your niche and develop a plan to achieve your career goals. Through a career capstone class and work experience related to your major you’ll build your resume — and develop a portfolio that will set you apart from the rest. On-campus career conferences, held twice a year, help you connect with leading companies for internships and full-time employment.
With this road map in hand, you’ll graduate with the industry-relevant experience necessary for success in your chosen field.
