Within your own curriculum, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience (and earn credit) by working in a hotel or restaurant. Facilities include JWU-owned, -operated or -partnership hotel and restaurants, or you may choose to work off-campus at cooperative education sites around the world. internships Students pursuing degree programs that require the completion of an internship (2099), practicum, or externship may request the term they are interested in. These requests must be received no later than one full term prior to the term of interest. Student Academic Services will try to honor requests; however no guarantees can be made. cooperative education (co-op) Co-op is a selective program designed to provide you with practical work experience in your chosen field of study. You will earn an hourly wage and receive academic credit for the experience at host company sites in the United States and abroad, chose by the University.
