Looking for an Alternative to Baking in the Sun —
Try Chef's Choice® Culinary Classes at the Providence Campus

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — May 21, 2007 — The beach isn't everyone's choice, so why not try Johnson & Wales Chef's Choice® classes? Johnson & Wales University’s College of Culinary Arts offers its popular Chef's Choice classes for anyone interested in expanding their culinary skills. There's a kids menu of classes, too. Classes are designed for specific age ranges including 8-12 year-olds and teens ages 13-16. And for the summer there's even a 5-day Kid's Camp and Teen Camp.

This summer an expanded menu of selections will be offered. A blend of old favorites and new creations, prepared to impart the secrets to becoming an expert in the kitchen are also on the line-up.. Whether you’re a beginner or an enthusiast, have an appetite for the very basics or a yen for the exotic, you’ll find offerings to suit your taste. Interactive one-day classes are designed for people on the go — all combine hands-on experience with demonstrations.

Some of the main courses and desserts offered include: Easy Summer Cooking, Finger Food Fiesta, Meals on the Go, Summer Time Salads, Know Your Grilled Vegetables, Piece of Cake and Basic Pastry Skills.
