In 2014, Johnson & Wales University will be 100 years old. Our Centennial marks a perfect time to assess where we’ve been, where we are — and where we’re headed.
Let’s kick things off by taking a look at key photos from JWU’s history, from the meeting of our founders, Gertrude Johnson and Mary Wales, to the major growth of the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s.
We have big plans to mark this milestone, from campuswide events like Founders Week and Centennial celebrations at each campus (including the Charlotte Campus’ tenth anniversary) to student programs that celebrates the university’s history and
establishes new traditions.
