All students applying for housing for the 07-08 academic year must use the J&W online housing system. Please note that the Housing Application takes effect upon completion, and covers the entire academic year even though room charges are payable by the term. As long as a resident student continues to be in attendance at the University, he/ she will be responsible for room charges for the entire academic year, even if he/ she decides not to occupy the room for what ever reason, voluntary or involuntary.

Students who have been convicted of certain felonies (or have had certain felony-type charges sustained in a juvenile proceeding), such as crimes of violence, serious drug offenses, and sex offenses, are not eligible to live in University housing.

contract releases Contract releases will be considered on a case by case basis by the Director of Residential Life, however, it is only under extraordinary circumstances that one would be granted (please see the University Student Handbook (1M PDF) for a full description of this procedure). In order to apply for a contract release, students must complete the contract release form (197K PDF), also available in Flamingo Hall 234 or 236, and submit it along with supporting documentation to the Director of Residential Life. The refund policy for students who officially withdraw from the University is stated in the student handbook.

It is important to note that your meal plan and access to the building will be cancelled at time of move out. Should you need to regain access to your residence you will need to contact the Director of Residential Life in the Student Life Center room 234 or ext. 7055 from any campus phone.
