Academic Assessment
You will be scheduled to take an Academic Placement exam during your first day of Orientation. With few exceptions, Johnson & Wales requires all new students to undergo Academic Assessment in math and sentence skills to assist with placement in general studies courses.
Additionally, all College of Business students may elect to complete a computer proficiency test.
If you have documented disability and are requesting testing accommodations, you must forward you documentation at least two weeks prior to your scheduled assessment to ensure that the appropriate accommodations can be arranged. No accommodations will be provided without appropriate documentation or if documentation is submitted on the day of assessment. Please contact the Center for Academic Support for more information.
