PARENTS ASSOCIATION
Parents can be among the most enthusiastic advocates for this university.
They are eager to share their experiences with others. The role of a
parent volunteer in promoting the university, welcoming new students
and their parents to JWU, and supporting the many activities and
events held for students and parents is invaluable and enriching to the
university. JWU’s Parents’ Association is a “parent-driven” organization
whose mission is to serve as a liaison between the university and its
parent constituency, and to assist JWU’s families in making
the transition to college life easier.
The Parent Advisory Board serves as the leadership arm of the Parents’ Association and acts as the collective voice of our parent and family community. The Board consists of sub-committees with clearly defined goals. These committees address issues brought to the Board’s attention, develop programs and events for parents and students, and work to cultivate the partnership between the university and its parent constituency.

Your involvement supports your student’s success while at JWU, while you share in this extraordinary time in your child’s life.
