providence campus

All Students
You are required to print your detail schedule from uconnect 24 hours prior to the start of classes. You may print from various points on campus, from your personal computer in the residence hall or by visiting one of the university's computer labs.

Reminder: Classes begin Tuesday, Sept. 9. Review the 2008-2009 academic calendar.

New Students
All freshman and new transfer students have a tentative course registration prepared by Student Academic Services (SAS). You can view this registration via uconnect within one week after receipt of your Admissions deposit (fall registration began April 11). You will be able to make changes to this registration in uconnect (Add/Drop Classes menu) beginning Sept. 5.

Please note that class space and availability is limited and changes to your class schedule may not be advisable. SAS reps are available to assist you with questions.

Continuing Education and Graduate students (excluding ESL students) must web register courses in uconnect. Review course registration.

uconnect
uconnect allows you to conduct many transactions online, which include printing your class schedule, registering for classes, making payments, viewing holds, reviewing degree progress, searching for courses, and more.

New day school students will receive login instructions with their invoice packet. In order to log into uconnect, you need your student ID, which begins with "J" and is located on the upper right corner of your invoice, and a PIN, which will be included with the mailing.

Upon receiving these instructions, log in and become familiar with uconnect. Once you have access to uconnect, it is your responsibility to check your record on a regular basis to view any holds that can prevent enrollment for the term.

To login: visit https://uconnect.jwu.edu and select "Enter Secure Area" (be sure to read on-screen instructions). Once logged in with your given PIN, you will be prompted to select a new PIN of your choosing, which will be used for all future logins.
