| College Level Examination Program Exams (CLEP)
These widely accepted national exams are offered
in a variety of subjects. CLEP Exams are treated as
transfer credit. All CLEP Exams will be administered
on computers. Students may take one exam per
test date. Per the College Board, a CLEP Exam that
has been failed may be repeated in six months.
The University accepts the ACE (American Council
on Education) recommended score as the passing
score.
• Fees: All applications must be delivered to the
Student Academic Services office along with a
$15 application fee. This non-refundable fee must
be paid by check or money order made payable
to Johnson & Wales University. The $65 CLEP fee
may be paid at the testing session by credit card
(VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover
or JBC [Japanese Bank Card]) or by submitting a
check or money order made payable to CLEP.
