University Communications & Correspondence
All enrolled students at Johnson & Wales are expected to be familiar with University policies and procedures as outlined in our Catalog, Student Handbook and jwu.edu website. As a University, Johnson & Wales is committed to providing correspondence that is timely and relevant to our students. The University will send communications by mail and/or via JWU email with the full expectation that students will receive and read them in a timely manner. Any correspondence sent by mail or JWU email is deemed to be an official notification.

email Generally, Johnson & Wales email is considered to be the primary medium of formal communication. Accordingly, each enrolled student is required to activate and then monitor their JWU email account on a frequent and consistent basis. Students experiencing technical difficulties when accessing their JWU email account must contact the University Help Desk for assistance.
