Student Academic Services must receive scheduling requests for internships/practicums no later than one full term prior to the term requested. Students should review their curriculum and specific requests with an academic counselor.

World-class employers connect with a select group of Johnson & Wales University students through our highly successful cooperative education program. Students in all majors must meet the selection criteria in order to qualify for acceptance into the cooperative education program. Culinary and pastry arts students can apply for co-op in their sophomore and senior years. Hospitality, technology and business students can apply for co-op at the end of their junior year through their senior year.
