full time
Full-time status is determined on a term-by-term basis. Students should realize that in order to receive financial aid and to be eligible for athletics, they must maintain full-time status. Additionally, insurance companies and scholarship foundations frequently require students to maintain full-time status.

For students receiving Veterans benefits, any change in status (i.e. course add/drop) will be reported to the Veterans Administration. If a student athlete receives a grade of W, WP, or NC in a course, that course will no longer count towards full-time status for NCAA athletic eligibility.

undergraduate Full-time status for undergraduate day students is a minimum of 12.0 credits each term; continuing education students must maintain a minimum of 6.0 credits each term for purposes of financial aid only. International students must schedule a minimum of 13.5 credits in order to be considered full-time.

graduate When enrolled in graduate level courses, students are considered full-time if enrolled in 9.0 credits each term. Students enrolled in any undergraduate prerequisite courses (accounting and hospitality students) must maintain a minimum of 12.0 credits to be considered full-time.

doctoral When enrolled in doctoral level courses, students are considered full-time if enrolled in 12.0 credits each semester.
