As a nonprofit, accredited institution, Johnson & Wales University builds the community in a number of ways. In addition to having a positive economic impact on Providence, we also improve the quality of life in the city through our commitments to community service, urban revitalization, and business and community partnerships, as well as through our continuing education and recreational classes. Our graduates and students are also strong contributors to regional economies both as skilled members of the workforce and as entrepreneurs.
