| • If you are receiving additional outside scholarships that are not listed in your Financial Aid Award, notify your financial planner & list your scholarships in Other Resources to include in your calculation. • You cannot use Federal Work Study as a deduction to calculate your Annual Balance (work study money is not earned until work hours are complete). Use this money to offset daily expenses. • If borrowing a Stafford Loan from a lender, deduct 3% for processing fees (97% of the loan’s total amount is applied to your Financial Aid). For example, if your loan amount is $3500, your Aid amount is $3395 (3500 X 0.97). RISLA does not charge any processing fee. |
