Bio

A member of the Johnson & Wales University faculty for more than 25 years, Susan Batten has taught most of the freshman curriculum, and presently teaches Nutrition and Sensory Analysis. She has been active with CCAP (Careers Through Culinary Arts Program), a national scholarship program for at-risk youth.

Batten is certified as an executive chef and culinary educator by the American Culinary Federation (ACF) and as a Foodservice Management Professional (FMP) by the National Culinary Federation.
