Bio

Since 2007, I have worked as a full-time faculty member at JWU Charlotte’s College of Hospitality Management.

I received my master’s degree from the Department of Hotel and Restaurant Management at Eastern Michigan University in 2001 and my doctoral degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Resources from Michigan State University in 2006.

My teaching philosophy is “maximizing student satisfaction” by providing supportive class materials, creating practical discussions, and delivering industry-associated experiences in order to achieve course objectives and outcomes. I constantly make an effort to improve my teaching skills to maximize my students’ learning and available opportunities.
