Bio

A graduate of the University of South Carolina, I opened my first restaurant shortly after graduating, and spent twenty years in the restaurant business as chef and owner of three restaurants and a large catering operation. I still own and operate a restaurant today. In 2005 I joined the faculty of Johnson & Wales University, and had the pleasure of teaching the first classes offered on the new campus. Currently, my teaching focus is about beverages, particularly wine and spirits. I attempt to share my real world experience in the industry with students, as well as my passion for the topic I teach.
