JWU Faculty Profile Default
I love teaching our students about how to solve legal problems in the business world.“

Megan Bertron has been teaching at JWU Denver almost since the campus opened.

She loves teaching her students about how to solve legal problems in the business world, and especially loves hearing how her students think about the legal issues that come up everyday in the United States.

Bertron has a law degree from Georgetown University and is one of the few people she knows who really enjoyed going to law school. She used to be in private practice representing large corporations, primarily in employment discrimination cases.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina in journalism and political science. That degree gave her a love of writing and turned her into a permanent politicial junkie (growing up in D.C. started her down that path).

Bertron has three kids and a husband and has lived in Colorado for more than 20 years. When she's not at JWU, Bertron is with her kids, running or practicing yoga, or maybe in the mountains. According to Bertron, Colorado is the BEST place to live.
