Bio

I have been teaching at JWU Denver almost since the campus opened.

I love teaching our students about how to solve legal problems in the business world. I especially love hearing how my students think about the legal issues that come up everyday in the United States.

I have a law degree from the Georgetown University and am one of the few people I know who really enjoyed going to law school. I used to be in private practice representing large corporations, primarily in employment discrimination cases.

I hold a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina in journalism and political science. That degree gave me a love of writing and turned me into a permanent politicial junkie (growing up in DC started me down that path).

I have 3 kids and a husband and have lived in Colorado for more than 20 years. When I’m not at JWU, I’m with my kids or running or practicing yoga or maybe in the mountains. Colorado is the BEST place to live.
