I teach classes in Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign at JWU’s Denver Campus.“


In 1984, Davies earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Management Science from Metropolitan State University of Denver. After graduating from college he began his computer career as a software engineer. He has 30 years’ experience in the computer industry and in post-secondary education.

After college, he began teaching part-time for several community colleges, teaching computer programming courses in Visual Basic and Fortran. Later he taught courses in SDWT (Self-Directed Work Teams), Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, Introduction to Computers, Microsoft FrontPage, Systems Analysis and Design, Programming Logic and Design, and other computer-related courses. Professor Davies became a tenured professor at the Community College of Aurora in 2003.

He received his Cisco Certified Academic Instructor (CCAI) and his Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications from Cisco Networking Academy. He taught CCNA networking courses for several community colleges. He retired from Community College of Aurora in 2008.

In 2008, Davies began teaching part time for JWU Denver, where he teaches classes in Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign.
