Bio

Tim Stein is an associate professor with the College of Hospitality Management at Johnson & Wales University’s Denver campus.

Stein teaches a variety of upper-level management courses including food service design; human resource management; menu planning and cost control; and hospitality strategic management.

A 20+ year veteran of the industry, Stein has worked in leadership positions for several hospitality management and consulting organizations. He currently serves as a small business consultant with the Denver Metro Small Business Development Center, providing expertise and support to new startups and existing local businesses.

Stein holds a Master of Professional Studies (MPS) degree from The Hotel School at Cornell University and a bachelor of science Degree from the College of Human Ecology at Cornell University. He is also a Registered Dietitian (RD) and a Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE).
