Bio

David Woolever joined the Arts & Sciences faculty at Johnson & Wales University’s Denver Campus in the spring of 2008. Prior to coming to JWU he was in the United States Air Force, where he served as an academic instructor at the Air Force Academy in Colorado and Officer Training School at Maxwell AFB, Montgomery, Alabama.

As a military instructor, he taught courses including Military Theory, Strategy and Doctrine & Joint Coalition Warfare. In addition to his teaching experience, he has served in various unique assignments for the Air Force, including an overseas tour at Incirlik Air Base, Republic of Turkey, and Los Angles AFB, California.

Woolever is also a certified personal trainer through the Cooper Institute and is a certified Level I & II Coach through USA Track & Field.

Prior to joining the United States Air Force in 1998, he served as head coach for the Shepherd College (now University) cross country team. As coach he orchestrated the 1997 West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC) Championship Meet. He also coordinated the Shepherd Running Camp during the summer of 1997.
