JWU North Miami’s College of Arts & Sciences offers a Criminal Justice bachelor’s degree program designed to prepare students for professional careers in the field and to provide transferable skills and professional competencies necessary for long-term career progression and engaged citizenship.

Through this course of study, students are expected to acquire the communication, logic, critical thinking, and ethical reasoning skills essential for both the understanding of complex global and domestic criminal justice issues.

The college also provides the A&S Core Experience — embedded in all of JWU’s varied degree programs — to help you develop the skills identified by employers as most critical to professional success: effective communication, critical and creative thinking, quantitative literacy and ethical reasoning.
