Bio

In the past I served as adjunct faculty coordinator and interim department chair in English. Having expertise in workplace/business writing, for many years I trained both RI State employees and JWU employees in the Employee Development Program in effective writing and communication.

I have presented in many capacities at Johnson & Wales and externally, on classroom management and active teaching techniques, most recently on WISE criticism at the Hawaii International Conference on Education, and was awarded the honor of master teacher and teacher of the year several years ago.
