Bio

I have been with JWU since 1986. I teach a variety of courses in the College of Hospitality Management.

My educational background includes degrees in Business Administration and Higher Education, with a focus on Tourism and Human Resource Development. My highest educational degree is a EdD from GWU.

I have traveled to 67 countries; I enjoy and learn from each of the destinations I have visited.

I developed and run many summer abroad programs at JWU, as well as spring break abroad programs. I have been responsible for the development of 7 BA-level courses on my own and 3 BA courses working with conjunction with 2 other faculty members. I developed a MS program in Tourism and Economic Development and created 10 courses as part of the new MS program.

I love the encounters with students and the ability to have an impact on their intellectual development.
