Bio

I was born and raised in Switzerland. My situation is very unique because both sides of my grandparents owned their own bakeries, so I am a true 3rd generation baker/pastry chef. You can say that I was born into the baking industry, which is why I am so passionate about it and want to teach others.

My apprenticeship was in baking and pastry. After serving in the military, I decided to leave my country to explore the world as an Executive Pastry Chef and worked in numerous hotels in Bermuda, Houston, Chicago and Atlanta.

I have owned 2 retail bakeries and have several years’ experience of consulting in the baking and pastry world. I bring my knowledge, passion, expertise, enthusiasm and real-life prior experiences to every class, so that my students learn in an hands-on, engaging atmosphere. My 39 years of knowledge in the baking and pastry world enables me to share my wide range of experiences — whether internationally or locally earned — with students.
