Bio

In 2003 I received my BFA in Graphic Design from Moore College of Art & Design.

Since graduating Moore, I’ve worked in the design industry as an art director, graphic designer and package designer. In addition to working in firms, I began teaching graphic design at Philadelphia University while working to attain my MFA in Museum Exhibition Planning & Design at The University of the Arts.

Since graduating from UARTS in 2007 I’ve been working full time at Johnson & Wales University as an assistant professor of graphic design.

Though teaching full time, I am actively engaged in the design industry as a freelance designer, taking on a variety of clients, from political organizations like Fight Back PAC to Crayola, Tanner Sandals, the National Baseball Hall of Fame, as well as more local clients like Granny Squibbs, IGT, FM Global, Rogue Island, Grillie, and TwoTen Oyster Bar & Grille.

I also donate my services to organizations like the Italian Greyhound Rescue of New England and Abandoned Dogs of RI.

I am primarily a project-based teacher, drawing on my industry experience and translating it to the classroom, from my teaching style and to the projects that I assign.
