Nicholas Makris is an associate professor in the Food & Beverage Management department at Johnson & Wales University. He received his MBA from Johnson & Wales University and from there held various managerial positions in the restaurant field, before opening Andreas Greek Restaurant.

After 15 years of continuous success, he decided he needed a change of pace and landed a teaching position at Johnson & Wales University. He has been featured in the Providence Journal, Restaurant Startup & Growth and several other publications.
