Have fun learning. For entrepreneurs, starting a business is not an indication of success. Instead, success is more likely the acquisition tools + critical-thinking capacity to decide whether to pursue a business venture or an entrepreneurial lifestyle. ”

Bio

Born into a family of traveling diplomats, I pursued my education at international schools where I was exposed to diverse cultures at an early age. I have lived in Sweden, France and Morocco and developed a keen appreciation for and understanding of cultural differences.

I have extensive international travel experience collaborating on multidisciplinary projects with partners in education, government, and private enterprise.

I have also developed numerous international programs in Australia, China, Guatemala, Mexico, and Morocco.

Equipped with a BS in Management and an MBA in Organizational Leadership — as well as pursuing an EdD in Organizational Leadership from Northeastern — I love engaging students in collaborative meaning-making experiences on topics relating to leadership, organizational behavior, international business and entrepreneurship.

As an active entrepreneur immersed in the local entrepreneurial scene, I bring real and current examples to illustrate entrepreneurship theory. My classes are often designed as experiential opportunities for students to assess the potential value of their entrepreneurial ideas, as well as rapidly prototype and test their value propositions.

My advice to students is to have fun learning. For entrepreneurs, starting a business is not an indication of success. Instead, success is more likely the acquisition tools and critical-thinking capacity to decide whether to pursue a business venture or an entrepreneurial lifestyle.
