Bio

I have taught at JWU since 1992 — primarily mathematics and history courses. My research interests include statistics associated with the Academy Awards and pedagogical themes of online teaching.

My service includes 9 years as Department Chair of Mathematics as well as 9 years on the University Committee on Academic Rank, which is charged with qualifying faculty members for promotion. I have also chaired the university and Arts & Sciences Outcomes Assessment committees — essential roles related to accreditation.

On a personal level, I enjoy European travel, reading and dance music and have a strong interest in Medieval history, art and architecture.
