BIO

I have taught at the University since 1992 (the Providence downcity, Culinary and Online campuses) and have taught mathematics and history courses.  My research interests include statistics associated with the Academy Awards and pedagogical themes of online teaching.  My service includes nine years as Department Chair of Mathematics as well as nine years on the University Committee on Academic Rank, which is charged with qualifying faculty members for promotion.  I have also chaired the University and Arts & Sciences Outcomes Assessment Committees, essential roles related to accreditation.  On a personal level, I enjoy European travel, reading and dance music and have a strong interest in Midieval history, art and architecture.
