Angela Renaud’s professional activities include active research in retention and curriculum development and serving as a college evaluator for the New England Association of Schools & Colleges (NEASC).

Renaud has spoken nationally and written on learning styles, learning disabilities, and retention enhancement. She is a member of the New England Resource Center for Higher Education.

As a past member of the board of governors of Leadership Rhode Island and vice-chair of the Board for the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities, she aligns university resources and services to meet the needs of the clients serviced by these organizations. She was the past chair of the board of the Genesis Center and served on the board of Meeting Street School. In addition, she was both chair and vice-chair of the board of the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities.
